Aquatic Classes

The Foothills Park & Recreation District Aquatics Programs offer a variety of aquatics programs, swimming lessons and safety training year round. All programs are led by professional, enthusiastic, American Red Cross certified pool staff. Foothills Aquatics staff are dedicated to providing a fun, friendly and safe experience for you and your family.

Youth Competitive Swim Programs

The District’s philosophy is to provide opportunities for youth to improve their swimming skills and to develop physically, mentally and competitively to the extent of their abilities and desires. We encourage youth to participate initially in lesson programs, then progress to competitive swimming.

C.A.R.A. Swim Team (year-round)
This recreational swimming program (Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics) is offered to youth 7-17 years with limited competitive swimming experience. A coach will offer stroke technique and teach the fundamentals of racing. This is a great way to introduce your child to fun, competition and good sportsmanship. Swim meets are held throughout the Denver Metro area on weekend mornings.

For more information, contact Program Specialist Kelly Burggraaf at 303.409.2521.
To reach the Head Coach, contact Stephanie Bunevich.

Foothills Swim Team (year-round)
