Park Description
This park is a mix of bluegrass irrigated turf and non-irrigated grasses. The grassy knob at the northeast corner of the park is a popular neighborhood sledding hill.

Park History
The park was acquired in 1972. It is named after Jim Hoida, a local resident who was active in the local homeowners association and instrumental in the development of the park. The park was dedicated to Mr. Hoida in the early 1990’s.
In 2024, this site was improved with voter-approved funds from the 2017 mill levy.
Directions To Park
From the intersection of S. Union Blvd. and W. Alameda Parkway, head south on Union approximately one mile to W. Arizona Ave. Turn left on W. Arizona Ave to the park located at the intersection of W. Texas Ave and S. Routt Way. No parking available and we suggest parking on W. Texas Ave or on S. Routt Way park frontage.
