Park Description
This is a small irrigated bluegrass park located along the Lilley Gulch drainage. The Lilley Gulch Regional Trail runs through the park, parallel to the Lilley Gulch drainage. No open play areas.  The trail begins at S. Pierce St. and heads west through Woodmar Square Park, Lilley Pad Park, Chief Colorow Park, and the Lilley Gulch Recreation Center and ends at S. Kipling Pkwy. No dedicated trailheads, but the Lilley Gulch Recreation Center is an ideal starting point.

Park History
This park was acquired in 1973. The original park name was Woodmar Square Park #1.

In 2020, this site was improved with voter-approved funds from the 2017 mill levy.

Directions To Park
From the intersection of S. Wadsworth Blvd. and W. Coal Mine Ave. head north on Wadsworth to the stoplight at Peakview Dr. Turn right on Peakview Dr. and go 2 blocks to Walker Dr. Turn left on Walker Dr. one block to the park entrance on the north side of Walker Dr. There is no parking lot and we suggest parking in the cul-de-sac at the playground.
