School Age Programs and Camps give children the opportunity to participate in enrichment activities such as arts and crafts, science experiments, cooking, board games, gross motor activities, dramatic play, manipulative games, field trips, homework support, construction projects and free play.

Before & After School Program

Our staff is qualified, trained, educated and dedicated to providing quality programs. We are devoted to providing safe, healthy, fun, recreational and educational opportunities for children.

Foothills Before & After School Programs for children in Kindergarten (ages 5 and older) – 5th grade operates Monday through Friday in various locations from 6:45 am until school commences and from school dismissal until 6:00 pm. We offer a variety of activities including arts and crafts, gross motor activities, games and homework time for students.

Foothills offers full day care at our recreation centers during no school days, minimal contact days and school breaks. Specialized activities for the students include swimming, dance, ice skating, cooking, gymnastics and gym use.

Enrollment Information

Enrollment for the 2025 – 2026 school year is open.

An annual non-refundable Enrollment Fee ($70/child or $90/family) is required at time of enrollment. Annual Enrollment Fee covers programming from June 1 to May 31. Parents or guardians are encouraged to read the Parent Handbook for program and enrollment policies.

Parents will also be required to submit the following, prior to child’s attendance:

  • Immunization Records for each child,
  • General Health Appraisal Form for children ages 7 and under only,
  • Permission for Administration of Medication if necessary.

Enrollment and payment is completed online using SchoolCare Works Family Portal (use the buttons above). Parents can register for care, schedule monthly attendance calendars and view or pay billing statements online using this secure portal. Once registered, parents can select a monthly attendance calendar to schedule days of care. Calendars are available on a first come, first serve basis each month for the following month.

For summer camps a $25 deposit per child, per week is due at the time of enrollment. This deposit will be applied towards your weekly tuition. Remaining summer camp tuition will be due on the first of each month of scheduled attendance. Parents or guardians are encouraged to read the Parent Handbook for program and enrollment policies.

Parents will also be required to submit the following, prior to child’s attendance:

  • Immunization Records for each child,
  • General Health Appraisal Form for children ages 7 and under only,
  • Permission for Administration of Medication if necessary.

Winter Break Camp 2025

Dates:

December 22, 2025 – January 6, 2026.  No Camp December 25 and January 1.

Operational Hours:

  • Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 6:00 am
  • Reduced Hours on December 24 and December 31: 7:00 am until 3:00 pm at the Ridge Recreation Center Only.
    • Note: If you need care on December 24 and/or December 31 you will need to register for these specific days under the Kids on the Move Camp at the Ridge to be able to select care. You do not need to attend the Ridge Kids on the Move for the entire break in order to sign up for these dates. Families can mix and match camps.

Cost:

$55 per day with excursion (discounts for multiple children)

Enrollment Dates:

  • Registration Begins November 5 for families currently attending our Before and After School Programs. Registration opens online at 8:00 am
  • Registration begins November 12 for all other families, subject to availability. Registration opens online at 8:00 am
  • Deadline to register: December 10
