Park Description
This park is a combination of bluegrass irrigated park at the west end and native areas at the east end. The granite sand trail leads from the main park to the native areas at the east end of the park.

Park History
The main park was acquired in 1985 through Senate Bill 35 land dedication requirements and was developed in 1991 with Jefferson County Open Space funds.
In 2020, this site was improved with voter-approved funds from the 2017 mill levy.
Directions To Park
From the intersection of S. Simms St. and W. Belleview Ave., head west on W. Belleview Ave. to S. Vivian St. Turn right on S. Vivian one block to Ward Way and the park. No parking lot available and we suggest parking along the Ward Way park frontage.
